Polaroid It

I have always been interested in photography, but recently because I am starting to sell my photos I wanted to try different types of photography. I own a really nice SLR film camera, but obviously unable to develop my own film... hopefully some day, so I stumbled across these really cool photos taken by Polaroid transfer.

I start searching the internet to learn more. I come across one of those really cool Polaroids were one peels the film apart and it's sticky on one side (Remember Kristen Dunst in Crazy Beautiful where she's all into photography and she takes Polaroids and then peels them off and sticks them in her journal??) That's what I want to do.

Because, like everything I research the heck out of a subject before jumping in, I need to know what camera I should buy for the peel-apart film etc. This is what I came up with (correct me if I am wrong)

I want a Polaroid Automatic 100 Land Camera (Packfilm)
then I need 660-series peel-apart packfilms
I was recommended to check out www.freestylephoto.biz for the best prices of film for these sorts of cameras, prices seem resonable around $20 bucks.

So I got on top of it and bid on a camera on Ebay.

What I don't understand is how people on Ebay can post a old camera for $20-$40 bucks if they don't even know if the damn thing works or not! It's frustrating when I am trying to find a camera that actually works, but no one can tell me, they all say, "Don't know anything about cameras, looks in good condition".

I found a really cool site for Polaroid camera, it has all the info on the camera and what kind of film it takes.
