My top 3 to follow on Twitter at the moment:
1. bayareaevents - great way to know what is going on. Especially if you want to do something last minute.
2. sfbg (San Francisco Bay Guardian) - stay up to date with news and popular topics
3. Etsy - I was actually sceptical to follow because I thought it was going to be mainly advertising for artists on the site - which it is but the tweets seem pretty personal, and also includes craft fairs/events which is good to stay informed if your a crafty person.
Runner up is GoldenGatePark - nice to know especially if you live close, but doesn't seem like they tweet that often.
